Mr. "Ras", President of the Satire Gang, the CRN Affiliate in Uganda.

We had a meeting on Saturday. However we did not talk much about matters realated to the Douala workshop as members requested me to give them time to read through my 12-page report before they can react to it. So we are meeting again in two week's time to.

Last week was Anti Corruption Week, it was marked by a procession of anti corruptuon activists, radio talk shows and public lectures. I must confess, it took the Satire Gang unaware but I later talked to an official from the IGG's Office [Inspector Genaral of Government] about the possibility of involving the Gang in next year's event. He was very pleased with the idea and promised to write and invite us offficially to participate in not only the anti corruption week but other activities as well.
